Is the 4660x2 Roku Ultra supported? I'm not sure if it's different than the 4660x.

The 4660 in all flavors is supported. However, if you're not in the US rollout is being done slowly.

Thanks for providing us with your information regarding the Roku Streaming Stick (3800) not having Airplay.

I have passed along your information to the appropriate team to investigate further.

Re: Airplay support - Roku 9.4

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the posts.

Please be aware that Airplay will be supported on the following Roku devices on OS 9.4 as outlined in our Support page here

Roku TV

 Axxxx, Cxxxx, CxxGB, 7xxxx

 Roku Streambar

 9102x

 Roku Smart Soundbar

 9101x, 9100x

 Roku Ultra

 4800x, 4670x, 4661x, 4662x, 4660x, 4640

 Roku Premiere

 4630x, 4620x, 3920

 Roku Streaming Stick®

 3811x, 3810x

If you do not see Airplay on the above devices:
1) we would recommend trying to perform a manual update on your Roku device. For more information about how to manually update your Roku device, visit our Support page here: How do I update the software on my Roku® streaming device?

2) Please be patient aware as we are working hard on releasing Airplay to the above mentioned devices and it may not be readily available.

Thanks,
Danny

In addition to my 3810s, i have a bunch of 3800 sticks I use.  Will the the 3800s ever get Airplay?  If not, that's fine, but it would be good to know so I can distribute them only to locations that will not need to utilize Airplay. Since I didn't see the 3800X in the initial Airplay rollout list, I just wanted to be sure.

Thank you!

The 3800 is not a 4K player, so not likely to get AirPlay. That seems to be the dividing line Roku is using, although there's a couple of 4K TVs that aren't getting it either.

Appreciate the fast response.  Didn't realize the 3800s weren't 4k but didn't purchase them for that feature.  I'll plan accordingly.

Thank you!

I am on 9.4 on my 7105X tv and it is showing AirPlay as an option in settings. But does not show up on any of my iOS devices running iOS 14.1 and up. Is it possible to have 9.4 but have the actual option not have been rolled out yet for the tv? It seems like everyone is saying that if those options show and you have 9.4, then AirPlay should be working. Is this not the case and it’s still being rolled out in future updates?

If it's on your TV but your iOS device doesn't see it, there's a networking issue between your two devices. The most common is a setting in your wireless access point/router that doesn't permit wireless devices from seeing each other. If you're using what's labeled a guest network that is the most likely cause. But even the non-guest SSID could have the same access restriction enabled. You need to ensure both devices are on the same network, as in both have the same basic IP address settings (the first three segments should be the same numbers, only the last segment differs).

I'm on iOS 14.2 and my phone sees all four devices on my network (three players and one TV).
