3910X vs. 3810X

Jump to solution

What is the difference (features) between the Roku Express 3910X and the Roku Streaming Stick+ 3810X? I have both, and am trying to decide which to keep and which to give to a friend.

The Express does not offer 4K support, has an IR remote, and only supports the 2.4 GHz WiFi band at 802.11n speeds.

The Stick+ offers 4K streaming, comes with a WiFi Direct remote with voice search, and supports dual band 802.11ac WiFi. The Stick+ also has an external WiFi antenna (part of the power cord) for better performance, and has more memory than the Express.

Dan
Roku Stick (3600), Ultra (4640), Ultra (4670), Premiere (3920), Insignia 720p Roku TV, Sharp 4K Roku TV, Nvidia Shield, Windows 10 Pro x64 running Serviio and Plex on a wired Gigabit network.
