under most circumstances:

a="http://www.site.com/"
b="mypage.html"

?a+b
http://www.site.com/mypage.html

however under one situation, I'm getting this:

?a+b
mypage.htmlttp://www.site.com/mypage.html

even at the console, if I print a+b i'm getting b+a with the first character of a missing.

This is so strange, I just don't get it, never seen this before. This is on OS 3.0 beta.

Turned out to be some kind of funny character in the file I got the url from - not sure what exactly, probably CR/LF or CR or LF or something, fixed with some instr/mid/left magic...
