roOS v3 vs v4: is this the MIPS vs ARM difference?

the dev doco does not quite explain what is the difference between v3 and v4 of the Roku OS. what is clear is that v4 is for the Roku2 generation and v3 is for the older generation.

Here is conundrum though: Roku LT, which is in the middle between the two generations: like Roku1 it has no OpenGL, no Bluetooth, no microSD. And like Roku2, it has bigger flash, weaker power supply and no ethernet port. Moreover, model 2400X of RokuLT comes with ARM CPU and model 2450X has a MIPS heart.

So i wonder: which rOS does RokuLT run on? Is it that 2400X is on v4 and 2450X is with v3?

Wikipedia shows the same Broadcom chip in the LT as in the Roku2 product line:

Does it? Well it must be true then! Roku Inc ought to change their documentation to match wikipedia

FWIW, the FCC filing has the same Broadcom chip in the LT photos as well: https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/eas/GetApplic ... id=1548857

Yes, i saw that - it is for model 2400X only. But see "Developer Guide 4.1", pg.6 for mentioning of 2450X difference.

Does someone have 2450X, could you please post the OS version reported?
