developer mode on TCL Roku TV

I've been doing the homehomehomeupupleftrightleftrightleft sequence on my remote, it just brings up "Channel information" Lists every channel installed and thier version number.

I never get any prompt to enable roku developer mode like I did on roku 3?

What am I doing wrong or is the roku tv not able to do developer mode?

Also on my roku 3 I have no idea what I set the developer password to. How can I reset it?

    If you don't want to factory reset the device, you can also de-activate developer mode and then re-activate it again. In doing so, you'll be asked to provide a new password.

    Dyslexia sux!! I as doing left rightleftright.... i needed to do rightleftrightleft.... duh! got it now..

    But still need to reset the password on the rokudev on my roku 3.. any help?

      You could factory reset the device.
