dev mode

I'm unable to enter into dev mode since yesterday. I'm entering the key sequence then popup comes on asking if I want to enable it then it restarts as it should. After that I see a blue screen for a split second then another restart happens automatically and goes to home screen but dev mode is not enabled.

What am I doing wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could be. Contacted RokuTomC as suggested there but he hasn't been active in over two weeks, is there anything else I could do? I have deadlines and this is getting ridiculous.

If your ability to enable developer mode was taken away, I believe it's tied to that one unit. You could get/use another box.

That's what I thought but after a couple weeks a new device would be blocked as well so it's not worth the investment.
