The description of <script>
https://sdkdocs.roku.com/pages/viewpage ... Id=1608550 says that `type` attribute is "required" and to put "text/brightscript" there.
I see a code example that does not use "type=", so i hope this is a doco omission rather than genuine demand.
Why would somebody
require that and not just
imply brightscript - just like HTML^ implies "text/javascript" if omitted?
That is, unless one has sadistic tendencies... Even if the Co. were to release another language, it's not like it will become the default, is it?

(^) anyone inclined to argue <script type= > was once theoretically required in HTML - welcome to HTML5!
