On October 26 and 27th, 2021, Roku will host its annual Developer Summit. This year's event will be entirely virtual and is designed to provide developers with even more opportunities to interact with Roku engineers and product managers.
In addition to the standard updates on the Roku platform and recap of the recent Roku OS release, this year's summit features a series of free-form workshops and panel discussions during which attendees will be encouraged to engage freely with the Roku staff on the panel. Engineers will demo voice keyboards, channel distribution in Germany, self-serve certification testing for authenticated channels, and the standard dialog framework. Panelists will go into depth on Roku Pay, SceneGraph, the Roku Advertising Framework, and Roku Voice.
Developers can also request one-on-one "office hours"-style meetings with Roku partner engineers to get in-depth help on specific channel development topics.
