I've been working on a browser concept for the Roku players. It attacks the problem from a different angle. It uses its own language (rxml) to load content from the internet.
I think its ready for some public scrutiny so if you want to take a look:
Vanity Access Code: N9GXMX2
after loading the channel, type 7lstv.com in the address bar if needed
You can also visit the html version of this guide at http://7lstv.com
I think it is against Roku term of service to develop a browser for Roku.
They have two in the channels store.
maybe a good idea but like @necrotek said @kolesa ...... it will not play nice with Roku TOS and .........
Roku is about TV - Video Content .... so why a browser inside my TV programs ?
i have browser on my computer - easier to use or - Smart TV ........
my 2 cents on thins 🙂
valid ... but you still throw it against the wall and see what sticks.
also correct 🙂
