I’d like to find out the current time in a specified location, accounting for whether or not daylight savings time is currently active at that location.
so, regardless of where the Roku device is located (regardless of the Roku local time), I want to find the current local time at some other specified location, accounting for DST.
as an example, the Roku is in California, and I want the current time in New York but it happens to be in the middle of summer so it should be EDT not EST.
the reason for this is that the channel will be watching an event live from a specified location and certain times are important at that location regardless of where the viewer is located.
any recommendations on how to best achieve this?
