is there any way to print or view the component that is being extended?

Re: Component Extends

What do you mean, be specific?
Just doing PRINT ("?") on it in console already works.

Re: Component Extends

Print the extends or viewing the component the extends applies to. The epg grid extends for example that no longer has documentation.

Are you talking about this one - https://sdkdocs.roku.com/display/sdkdoc/roProgramGuide - or something else?
If they have silent-but-deadly yanked documentation on something, long term it's a good bet that component will be gone...

Re: Component Extends

Interesting, I thought I had read every thing in the sdk. I had come across the the epgscene and grid posted https://forums.roku.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=88621&p=508624&hilit=epggrid.xml&sid=ec821f7b7ad75d065a7b5985e776faf2#p508624.  After reading more post I came across a post from roku moderator that roku had pulled the documentation due to copyright situation.  Not sure if this is the same one yet. I had the feeling as you stated that if the documentation goes away, the component will probably be taken out eventually.  Thanks for the link.  Thought maybe if you could see the component being extended might give idea on how to create one from scratch.
