Channel to stream Macbook screen to TV?

Hi - Is there a private channel or is anyone working on a channel that can stream your Macbook screen to your TV via Roku? I'd love to be able to sit on the couch, browse the internet on my Macbook and have it show up on my TV without having to use a 30ft HDMI cable!

I want to beta test on my MacBook Pro (5,2) and Leopard 10.5.8.

2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo

Mac OS X 10.6.7(Snow Leopard)

I don't quite have my Roku Player yet; I ordered it and it should be here by 6/29
