Re: Being Listed on Roku.com

Do you mean the Channel Store on the box? You need to submit your channel for publication. The Channel Packaging and Publishing Guide in the SDK has useful information.

Re: Being Listed on Roku.com

Once you submit the Public Channel it will be there once approved to be a Public Channel by Roku.

Not exactly, we don't update those pages very often, it may be a long time before your published channel actually appears there.

Re: Being Listed on Roku.com

You need to submit it as a public channel, looks like you published as a private channel. Private channels don't appear in the Roku Channel Store. When you go to your account, click Developer Site, Manage My Channels, Add Public Channel instead of Add Private channel. Everything else is pretty much the same, however you submit it to us for review. We review your channel, and send you some feedback as to things that need to be fixed or adjusted (graphical, textual, functional) in order to be allowed into the channel store. 99% of channels submitted need some corrective work. You can reduce some of that by reading the Design Guidelines document and also read this:

viewtopic.php?f=34&t=45138

After you make the initial changes that we request, we then send your channel to QA where they check it pretty thoroughly for issues that our initial review may have missed, and if there are any serious issues that still need fixing, we will send you a list of those changes. Once those are fixed, we will usually publish your channel fairly soon thereafter.
