Was using an Express, with a SofaBaton Roku remote to control my TV Power (Polaroid TV) and volume for Bose 321 Series I (optical out from TV to Bose — no hdmi on Bose). Now replaced with a Streaming Stick+ and the SofaBaton remote doesn’t work with the stick+ (no sync button on remote), so trying to get the stick+ remote (RC399 voice) to control the Bose volume (IR)
when I go to set up the remote to “control the tv”, I select Polaroid for my TV, but the volume is ported out the optical, so I don’t want the tv volume controlled. I tried selecting Bose (and many other major brands) hoping to find a working volume sequence that might happen to control the Bose volume. Does anyone know what the old Bose 321 system might emulate that would control this?
