I use both roku and cable. When trying to use cable with a separate remote for the cable box, the roku responds to the signal from the cable remote. this changes the input of the tv and makes using my other remote difficult. roku express

If the tv input keeps on changing to roku input, do the following in the menu of the roku: settings> system> Control other Devices(CEC)> unclick 1-Touch Play box.

Thank you for this response.  Roku support strung me along for weeks regarding this issue without having any inkling whatsoever about what the issue was.

I have (had) the the same issue.  This fixed my 3 month long problem.

OMG!  So simple.  I've been dealing with this issue for months!  My roku device even responded to the remote for my flameless candle!  LOL.
