Recently, I removed a Roku stick and took it someplace else, and tried to plug it in on a TV not in my home. The remote would not connect back to the stick, to have any control, past the Home Screen coming up. In the upper corner, on the Home Screen, it said NOT CONNECTED. I thought it was an issue with the TV or connection at that other place.
But, now that I am back home, I am having the same issues. It is plugged back into the TV that it was working on before I removed it to take elsewhere. The remote blinks a flashing green light when I push the power button. The home screen comes up, but there isn't any control from the remote from there, and the NOT CONNECTED note is in the upper right corner.
I have put new batteries in, reset the WI-FI router, used different outlets - with no avail. I tried using the mobile app to control the stick, to see if I could troubleshoot the issue, but it does not show this particular stick as an option to connect to. Only the other two sticks I have in my home are available.
I am not a tech person!! HELP!!! It worked before I tried to take it on vacation!!!!
