outdated HBO Now is on Roku Express 4k plus remote

I have two Roku Express 4k plus remotes with two of the same exact devices. I have one in the living room and one in the family room. The remote in the family room has HBO Now, Roku, Netflix and CBS. The one in the living room has more updated apps such as Apple TV, Hulu, Disney and Netflix.I just bought these last week. (February 11, 2022) It seems the remotes with HBO Now must be old since HBO Now is outdated. Why was I given an old remote?Will the older remote affect the performance of streaming?

The express 4k plus came with the RC-EL1 remote, if yours is anything else then remote was switched and returned.
