new remote not pairing with existing usb stick Roku 3800

I just ordered a new replacement remote for the Roku stick 3800

It is not identical to what I had but i cant pair the remote to the stick

Does the remote have a pairing button in the battery compartment?  What's the model number shown on the sticker in the battery compartment>
