Remotes

My Roku Ultra is broken and I need to replace it.  Do all remotes work with a Samsung TV that is 6 yrs old.  The TV has better reception than the new ones on the market.

I do not want to buy a new TV.

Assuming you mean Rokus,  yes, my 2008 Samsung TV works with a Roku so your new one should as well.  If you mean specifically remotes, I think all Roku remotes are the same in terms of what models of TVs they can control.  (Except for “simple remotes” which come on the most basic models, and have no TV controls at all.)
