Can't set volume up or down on roku remote everything else works.

The power, volume, and mute buttons on current wifi-direct Roku remotes send the appropriate signals to your TV via line of sight infrared (IR) signals. Different tvs have different sets of IR codes they accept, so you have to set up the remote to find and send the correct code set for YOUR tv.

Roku menu path:

"Settings -> Remotes & devices > Remotes"

At this point if your remote has already been setup for the tv but you need to reset it, arrow down to select your Remote (in use).

Now select "Set up remote for TV control" .. And follow the prompts

Thanks for letting us know!

It sounds like you're having some trouble with your Volume button not working. There could be a few reasons for this. One possibility is that the remote hasn't been properly set up to control both power and volume. Another could be that the button itself is faulty.

Can you try setting up the remote again? Once you finish the setup, let me know if it does the trick. Click this link for instructions on setting up the remote.
