Volume up and down - remote has no volume button

New TCL Roku Tv. Just want to be able to bring volume up and down in increments. Remote doesn’t have volume up/down or +/- options ?!? Just something simple to meet my needs 😞

If the remote does not include a volume control on the side, you should probably contact the manufacturer. Roku only supplies the software that powers the "smarts" of the smart TV.

Alternately, you could get a Roku Voice Remote. They're $20, and you can buy them online, or find them in Walmart, Best Buy, or other retailers. There's also a $30 version with rechargeable batteries. Those remotes don't require line of sight, as the remotes that come with most TVs. They use a WiFi connection not infrared (IR), so you don't have to point at the TV once you pair it with the device.

Just to be sure....  the remote that came with your TCL Roku TV does not have volume and mute buttons on the right side of the remote?
