...unless plugged in. Shows fully charged but once disconnected from power, will not work. Worked well for 3+ months. Now, unusable. I can't seem to replace without a serial number and there is no serial number on the remote itself. I purchased from Amazon. They told me contact manufacturer which I can't do without serial number. Help!

Try contacting Roku using the serial number of your Roku device. If you can't see it under Settings->System->About you can see it under your linked devices at https://my.roku.com .

It's a remote that I bought separately from Amazon 4 months ago because the original remote for the streaming stick died. It is my understanding that remotes do not have serial numbers of their own, qt least not on the device itself. I did not save the box it came in. Any other suggestions?

I bought a Roku voice remote pro from Amazon in July 2021. A month ago it stopped working. I charged it to 100% but now works ONLY when it's connected via the cable to usb port or the charging cord to an electrical outlet. When connected, the pairing light comes on. But when not connected, the pairing light will not come on. I've disconnected the Roku unit from the power cord, waited a minute & reconnected & retried remote pairing...no luck.

That was the same issue I had. They did honor the warranty and sent me a replacement this past week but there is an issue with the replacement too (volume down does not work).
