I have noticed other posts about this with various TV's but did not see a resolution or identical issue.
TV is a 75" TCL/ROKU.
The reason I bought the remote is the programmable buttons, just wish there were more than 2.
The issue I have is the remote randomly stops working, and it has been happening more frequent.
If I plug it in to a charger it will work. When I do this, charge level has never shown below 85% and sometimes it is at 100% charge.
I can then unplug it and it will work again until the next random time when it doesn't.
Is there a solution other than buying a new one or using the TV original remote?
Welcome to the Roku Community, @02ebz06!
We appreciate you for letting us know about the issue you experienced. No worries we're here to assist you with this.
First, we would like to know when the issue occurred. Sudden fluctuations in your network connection could cause your physical remote to unpair from your device, which might be the reason your remote disconnected.
In the meantime, we highly suggest resetting your Roku remote by pressing and holding the Back and Home buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds. After doing so, pair it again and check if it makes any difference.
We'll wait for your reply.
Thanks,

Thanks for the reply.
Sorry I didn't mention it in my first post, but I have 2.5G LAN and the TV is connected to it, so no WIFI issues, and it has been happening for a few months, which just triggered my brain that, that is about when the ROKU upgraded to 13.0.
Have not tried the reset, but there is no telling when I would be able report back if I do it since it happens randomly.
Thank you for your response, @02ebz06.
We appreciate your cooperation and would like to inform you that we will be reaching out via private message for further assistance with this matter.
We look forward to your reply.
