No rebound on micro switch

My play pause button works erratically as the soft micro switch on the motherboard does not respond every time. Sticks in and takes a few seconds to pop back.

Is this a warranty issue or do I need to replace the remote? It is less than a year old.

Roku for last two or so years have had a mute key along the side of the remote which yours lack. They may get give a remote, or just go to Walmart or best buy for Roku voice remote.
