My roku remote adjusts the volume, mutes but does not turn on my Vizio sound bar on my Samsung tv. Hate having to use two remotes for only one function- need to use the Vizio remote to turn on sound bar . Any thoughts on how I can get the roku remote to turn on the sound bar when I hit the power button?
The Roku remote controls the tv, which in turn controls the soundbar via hdmi-cec. Some devices don't awaken from standby via cec signal like it does via an IR signal. It's not the Roku at fault here.
