Use the Roku Smart Soundbar as a Soundbar ONLY - Is this possible?

I purchased the Roku Smart Soundbar because I have difficulty hearing some spoken audio, and I understood that its audio clarity enhancement was good.

When I setup the Soundbar, the Roku remote takes over the Power On/Off of my Samsung Television, which I do not want. I am willing to use the Roku Remote to control the Smart Soundbar, but I want to use the Xfinity remote for TV control. I also have no interest in any of the other Smart Soundbar features such as streaming services.

Any suggestions as to how I can "break" the death grip that the Roku remote has taken over my Samsung TV? Thanks

Roku Soundbar remote is controlling your tv by cec, which samsung calls anynet+, turn off it on the samsung and then go into the roku soundbar and turn off 1-touch play in the settings> system> control other devices(CEC)> uncheck the box.
