I have a roku streaming stick paired with a 42 inch vizio TV.
We always lose either the roku remote or the TV remote.
Is there a "universal" remote that can be used to control both the streaming stick and the TV?
The roku remote does not allow switching inputs, TV settings, etc which we use a lot for sleeping and timers and such. The Vizio remote does not control anything on the roku, not even arrow keys.
I'd happily pay up to $50 for a remote that does this, guaranteed.
Not for a stick. The last remote that could was a Harmony remote in conjunction with a hub (which controls the stick in much the same way as the app). LG TVs also may have a "magic" remote that can control a stick in the same way. Any other Roku device can be used with an IR remote and there's plenty of universal remotes that work with them.
The Sofabaton models with Hub will control devices by IR, Bluetooth and Wifi, so it would control Roku Stick:
