Many people have asked a similar question, though mine is a little different.
I have a Roku Streaming Stick + (3810, 3811 series) that is brand new. I paired its remote, configured it, and everything was just fine.
Today, I moved the stick from one TV to another. The stick is working fine. I see the Roku home screen in all its glory. But there's no response from the remote. So I tried all the pairing troubleshooting tricks. Unplugged and plugged the Roku stick's USB power. Took the batteries out of the remote, so the green light was blinking. The light on the Roku stick was blinking kind of rapidly and regularly. In contrast to the other posts I've waded through, I did not get any kind of pairing message from the Roku. It just says "Not Connected" in the upper right hand corner of the home screen.
The serial number, according to my.roku.com/account is YH008P914753
Can anyone help?
Thanks!
Did you take the original two piece usb cable and switch it to the other tv as well? The short usb that actually attaches to stick+ is what the remote is communicating with, the remote circuitry isn't in the stick itself its in the cable. Its called the long range wireless receiver:
