Hey @BillRinCLE

We're here to help!

When inputting the serial number, we would suggest making sure to put zeros instead of the letter O. Please note as well that serial numbers usually start with "YH". To know your device's exact serial number, navigate to Settings > System > About.

If still no luck, reply here with the serial number of the affected Roku stick for further assistance.

Please keep us posted.

All the best,
Kariza

Re: Free HDMI Cable Site Issue

Hello!

It seems I'm one of many with the same website issue. I can't use my Roku stick as the hdmi port is practically inaccessible. I keep clicking continue on multiple browsers and nothing happens.

My serial number, which I took from the settings page is: X0170003SYCR.

I'd appreciate being contacted to fix this issue. Thanks!

Hello,

I am unable to claim the HDMI extender needed in order to connect my Roku to my TV.  When i type in the serial number from the back of the stick, it will not allow me to go to the next page.  Can you please let me know what information you need in order to fix this?  SN: 21317C98391.

Thanks

@idontneedamanda, use the serial number that shows under "linked devices" when you log in at https://my.roku.com .  You'll notice it doesn't match the one on the device.  Only Roku knows why they need two different serial numbers.  I suggest copying and pasting it into the form.

Re: Free HDMI Cable Site Issue

Hi Danny!

I tried again and now I can click on the continue button, however, I'm getting an error message that my address is invalid and the website tries to change it to something that is definitely not my address.

Can I get some help with that?

@mareelee

Thanks for the post.

Have you verified that the email address that you have entered is indeed correct? If you are still unable to resolve the issue, can you please send me a PM (private message) with a screenshot of the issue you are experiencing?

Thanks,
Danny
