Ultra remote disconnects from sound bar

I have an LG OLED TV and a LG sound bar connected to the arc port with an HDMI cord. The remote from my Roku Ultra will work for a few minutes (up to an hour or two) then all sound will cut out. I can still control the volume on the sound bar with the Roku remote, but no sound is coming out. This was never an issue before I started using the ultra so I assume this is the issue.

Re: Ultra remote disconnects from sound bar

When the sound cuts out, if you switch to a different device (Blu-ray player, cable box, antenna channel) do you get sound?

Sometimes unplugging the TV for several seconds to reset it clears up weird HDMI issues.

Re: Ultra remote disconnects from sound bar

I don't have any other devices connected, just the sound bar and the Roku. I've tried unplugging everything and it will re-pair and work for a short time before going silent again.
