Remotes

I installed the app on the phone and I can control the ROKU from my phone.  Go to Remotes and Devices and try to set up a new device and still will not find the remote.  Remote just sits and blinks.   But here is something odd.  When I go on the ROKU and go to Remotes and Devices and go to Remote it says that it has a VOICE REMOTE connected but the remote that works is the old I/R remote.    Is there a way to clear all devices from the ROKU and start over again like some kind of a factory reset?

Just remove the batteries from old remote so your Express 3930 so it cannot be seen by the device.  Then try using your new remote.  If no response, then attempt to re-pair the new Voice Remote again with the Express using either the phone app or with the steps we gave you before.

Do not rely on the light flashing after you just put in the batteries, you have to press and hold pairing button for 3 seconds and release, then let it communicate with roku until you get big DONE on screen.

I tried this. Nothing changes.  If I use my phone to go into the Express, Go into About Remote, it tells me it is a Voice Remote Model RC465

Since this seems still unresolved, can you navigate to your Roku Express settings and post what you see?

I know what you posted before.  What are you currently seeing now?

You might be getting the 3700 express that WON"T work with voice remote mixed up with 3930 that will work.
