Has anyone else had sudden remote issue within roughly the last 2 weeks? Suddenly it has been going through batteries (new, different brands, different packages) in 2 to 3 days. Remote is rarely used as during the day it is left on, untouched for my dogs.

At the same time, the button on the side that controlled the sound…..now suddenly pauses and plays instead. But only about half the time. No settings have been changed.

Normally I would assume it fell off the bed a few too many times. BUT, I realized today the problems all started when the NEW remote began advertising during browsing! Coincidence???
