Streaming Stick - long range wireless receiver -no pairing remote

i have 2 Streaming Stick+, one of the "USB power cable with long-range wireless receiver" is no longer pairing with the remote control.

when i connect the stick to the TV with the mal-functional "USB power cable with long-range wireless receiver"; it will display the main menu without no connection.  there is no "pairing remote" message comes up on the screen.

any chance I can just purchase the "USB power cable with long-range wireless receiver" online? 

Is it a firmware update for the "USB power cable with long-range wireless receiver" if i connect the receiver to a Computer?

please advise.

If you're up for some troubleshooting, try a couple of swaps.

First, swap the Sticks. Just the Sticks. Does the issue follow the Stick, or does it remain with the cable?

If it follows the Stick, there's an issue with the Stick.

If it stays with the cable, put the Sticks back, then swap the cables. Does the issue follow the cable, or does it remain at the original location?

If it follows the cable, then yes, it's probably the cable. If it remains at the location, it's probably not the Stick nor the cable, as you've now swapped both. So what? How about the Remote.

Put everything back like it was to begin. Next, swap the remotes. Does the issue follow the Remote? If so, there's the problem. If the issue remains at the location, there's something at that location causing the issue, interfering with the signal.
