I am trying to setup my Roku Streaming Stick + remote to control my Samsung TV. 

When I select Samsung code 1 I can turn the TV off and on but can not control the volume.

When I select Samsung codes 5 or 6 I can adjust the volume but the TV will not turn off and on.

Any suggestions?

Samsung commands haven't changed in years, there was blip where you didn't have repeating volume but it still worked. Try saying you have Westinghouse tv, which some models use the samsung code.

Thank you for the response.  I tried Westinghouse and it did not work.  I did find a solution.  In the home menu there is a power off that works.  When the home button is pressed it powers on the TV.  Not what I wanted but it is a one remote solution.
