I have a standard remote that suddenly stopped working. It is older and does not look like any of the remotes pictured here. The Netflix, etc buttons are in a vertical column and not side by side in a square. I changed the batteries but still nothing. What should I do?
Hi @Cagc
Thanks for the post.
Just to confirm, is this a Roku TV remote? If so, please be advised that remotes for Roku TVs are manufactured directly by the TV manufacturer. We would recommend reaching out to the TV manufacturer's customer support team to report the issue and get help.

All the best,

This is actually a ROku streaming monitor.

What does that mean? A Roku monitor? It doesn't have a TV tuner? There is no F connector for connecting cable or antenna on the back?

It means it is a Roku TV. The cable company had to do something extra to get their box to coordinate with it. The Roku home screen comes up first when I turn the TV on.
I have no idea what those things you are asking about are.
If it's a Roku TV then @RokuKariza-D answered your question. Use the link she posted for support for your TV. Roku doesn't make the TVs.
I have no idea what any of you are talking about. I give up.
If it's a Roku TV, you will see the Roku menu by default. One of the items listed with the other apps should be Live TV or something similarly names. That will be the input for the cable box your cable company left you.
There are options in the Roku settings to allow you to go to a particular input.
The remote you described sounds like some of the remotes that some manufacturers included with their TVs. If your TV is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer -- Roku doesn't make TVs, but they do provide the software for the smart TV interface.
If the Roku TV is not under warranty, the Voice Remote will work with your Roku TV.
