Anyone have any experience with Roku remote with att tv. Some functionality not there. Can pause a show but cannot fast forward through commercials

Can you please clarify your inquiry? Are you accessing ATT TV through a cable box, or as a channel on your Roku device? Please be aware that Roku device remotes only support Roku devices and TV power and volume when paired.

Started streaming AT&T TV on my Roku Ultra. The volume goes loud then soft. When loud the sound is about 5 to 10 on my Samsung tv and audio is a little distorted. When soft (normal) the volume setting is in the 50 to 70 range. Im pretty sure its only when streaming AT&T TV but I could be wrong. My coworker today decribe-ed the exact problem with his Roku. It only does once and while.

Try using Volume Leveling:  During playback press the Options (*) button and change the Sound Settings/Volume Mode=leveling
