I have two Roku Streaming Sticks 2019/2020 that have both gone bad within 2 days. Both remotes do not work, cannot be paired or switched out. Both make a hissing capacitor sound when batteries are plugged in. Roku's are fine and respond using the mobile app, but not remote works now.
This would seem to be a quality control issue if I have two remotes (identical in look) that both have the same issue.
Looking for Roku to respond on this issue and about replacements!

I am so tired of my roku remotes "breaking" after a year or so. I have been with roku for almost 10 years and the remote is always the piece failing on the numerous devices I have purchaed. It is so frustrating!! Just ordered another after it stopped working at just after a year.
I have sent my information twice and have not heard back from you.

Thanks for the follow up.
It doesn't look like we have received a PM (private message) or a post reply with information that we have asked for.
Can you please provide us in a post the serial number of your Roku device from Settings>System>About? Once we have that information, I'll be able pass it along to our Support team to assist you further.
Thanks,
Danny
