So can I not buy a remote for the Roku Stick? I have searched everywhere and can’t seem to find one. My friend gave me his because the remote stopped working and he couldn’t find a remote either. So he went and bought a new Roku and now I am wondering where I can find a remote.

You didnt mention your model # (it matters).

You can get replacement stick remotes (for the 3600 and newer) from Roku or Walmart/Best Buy/etc:

If it's a purple stick, save yourself the headache and toss it in the trash.

If it's model 3500, the one @renojim mentioned, it will work, but the current Streaming Stick+ (model 3810) is a far superior device. And, you won't be ablet to buy a new remote for that device. Try Ebay, Amazon, or other sites that sell used stuff, and you might have some success. But I'd recommend putting the money into a newer Roku device.

If it's model 3600, it's a little better than the 3500, but still quite sluggish compared to a current model device. But you can get remotes for the 3600.
