Sad to see I'm not alone in this I've bought extra remotes because of it. Too bad Roku seems happier ignoring the problem than fixing it
I have the same issue with the right button not working. This is the 2nd remote that has had the problem. What is the solution? If it can be fixed without buying a 3rd remote I sure want to know.
I found mostly all my streaming channels require a lot more usage of the right directional button than the other directional buttons by far. My other buttons work fine while my right button reached the end of being functional.
Thanks to the Roku resolution team I received a replacement remote and problem solved. The only way I see to get a longer lasting remote is that Roku design a remote with heavy duty directional buttons like my tv remote or use voice to select some of the supported remote functions. This should alleviate premature button wear and customer frustration.
