My remote just stopped working. I removed the Roku from power, reconnected, put the batteries back in, held down the reset button on the remote, and it still won't work. Are there any other suggestions, or do I need a replacement?
You didn't mention if you tried new batteries. That button isn't a reset button; it's a pairing button. If you hold it in for 3+ seconds the light on the remote should start flashing. It can be difficult to depress if you have big fingers.
Sorry, I didn't include all the details. I used two new batteries and did all of the troubleshooting recommendations exactly as stated on the website and nothing worked.
Hey @whoisdannyb
Thanks for letting us know all that you've done.
Please reply here with the serial number of the Roku device associated with the affected remote. It can be found at the back or underneath the player itself.
We look forward to your response.
All the best,
Kariza
Model number is RC-AL2.
@whoisdannyb, @RokuKariza-D wants the serial number of the Roku device, not the remote. It's printed on a sticker on the device somewhere.
