@xg8trIt's helpful to know more information if possible. The Roku operates differently than the TV..the white LED may remain lit for a few minutes then power off, though it will remain connected to the source of data (Internet) in order for it to update channels and firmware automatically. In settings>system there is a default setting for power which you can change as well
