So my roku remote has had no problems with controlling my tv volume or power until just now. I unplugged it from the tv and power, plugged everything back in, re-paired the remote, put in fresh batteries. All the usual first things to try. Still nothing. So i went and did the remote setup in the settings, and it went through like 30 some attempts of “did the music stop playing now?” Cycling through remote codes. Then said looks like your hisense tv is not supported. 2 problems. Its worked before. And my tv is not a hisense. Its a sharp. So is it trying to control my tv with the wrong brands remote codes all of a sudden? And how can i get it to correctly recognize what brand my tv is?
