I just got the Roku express+ and he remote batteries die within hours. Is this normal or do I just have a bad remote?
Hey @Kcramlet11
We're here to help!
Battery life will vary based on usage. For normal use, the remote batteries may last two months or longer. Does your Roku remote support private listening? This may also be one factor for the battery drain.
Please reply to this message with the serial number of the Roku device associated with the affected remote. It can be viewed by navigating to Settings > System > About.
We hope to hear from you soon.

My remote kills batteries in no time. Some times in a matter of days.
It does not support private listening and it is the 3810X - Roku Streaming Stick+
Serial No, YHOO122229726

My batteries only last 2 weeks at most. I watch tv 1-2 hours a day, so the remote is not used that much. After 2 months of changing batteries every other week, I exchanged it, hoping I just had a bad remote. But the second Express+ remote is doing the exact same thing...I used it about a week and the batteries are dead.
WHEN are you going to fix this problem? No way I'd recommend this defective product to anyone.
