Roku Voice Remote won't connect to LG TV

I cannot pair my new Roku Voice Remote with my LG TV.  After I pair the remote to the Roku, I follow the steps to go to the settings and pair it with the TV.  After non of the TV codes work, I get a message that says the remote is unable to pair with my TV.

  • Roku Premiere (4620X)
  • LG 49" 1080p LED Smart TV (49LK5700PUA)
  • Official Roku Voice Remote (RCAL7RIMG_0774.jpgIMG_0775.jpg
