There are couple of issues that started to happen with the Roku remote in recent weeks. 

1. The remote starts making high-pitched noice. A message comes up on screen to press any button to stop the noice. It stops. BUt then it might happen after a short break. 

2. The input (channel) changes by itself. I have Cable on HDMI channel 1 and Roku Ultra on HDMI 2. It goes from 1 to 2 by itself, It does not go the other way (from 2 to 1). 

I unplug the Roku stick when I am watching the cable. 

The serial number of my Roku Ultra stick is X01000LFSFK4
