Voice remote running a Roku Ultra is paired with a new Samsung TV to control power and volume. When the power button on the remote is pressed to power on the system, the Ultra jumps to a random app. Pressing the home button recovers control, but it is really irritating to have to do it every time. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Follow the steps below:

1. Reset the remote: Press and hold the Home and Back/Pairing simultaneously for about 20 seconds and pair it again. This can help to reset the remote and potentially fix the issue.

2. Once restarted, you can repair your Roku voice remote once again by pressing the Home and Back/Pairing for 5 seconds or until a prompt on your screen appears indicating an initiation for pairing.
