Roku Remote Volume Up button has stopped clicking

I have two Roku Stream Stick+ with voice remotes. Yesterday, the volume up button on one of the remotes stopped clicking; it still works, but there's no click feedback. It's barely a year old, and I've checked for dirt and cleaned it out.

Re: Roku Remote Volume Up button has stopped clicking

Interesting.  I've had my Streaming Stick+ for quite a while now and I don't recall ever having any audio acknowledgement of a volume press, neither up nor down.  My Samsung tv just pops up a volume slider at the bottom of the screen.

Two thoughts:

Could this be a sound the tv makes when volume is adjusted, rather than a sound from Roku?

Roku menu path Settings > Theme > Sounds -- are you using anything other than the default Roku sounds?

No, not audio feedback but feeling a "click" like a switch. I think the switch is failing, I have to press harder and harder for it to register the button press

Re: Roku Remote Volume Up button has stopped clicking

Those volume buttons on the remotes I've taken apart are the tiniest buttons I've ever seen.  I have a couple of remotes where the buttons either don't "click" or just don't work anymore.  They're very fragile.
