This has started happening recently. Every time I use my streaming stick, I have to put new batteries into the remote. After I do, it says on my screen that they are at 100%. Then the next time I use it, my remote does not work unless I use new batteries. This is of course frustrating so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi @Mlozan9232,
Thanks for posting in the Roku Community regarding your battery drain issue.
Could you provide the serial number of your Roku device by going to Settings > System > About.
Please let us know and we'll continue assisting you from there!
Thanks,
Mary

I am having the same issue. Please help.
Thanks for reaching out regarding the issue you are running into.
A few questions here to better understand what you're experiencing:
@Dave18 What Roku model device are you using?
We also suggest performing a system restart from your Roku device. This will update your remote to the latest version. This can be done by navigating to Settings > System > System Restart. After you perform the system update, continue to use your device as normal and monitor the remote battery percentage listed under Settings > Remotes > About. Additionally, if you had moved your Roku device power source to a wall outlet to help address this problem, you may now reconnect the USB cable to your TV's USB port if preferred.
Please let us know if you notice any improvements in battery life or if the issue is persisting.
Keep us posted.
Thanks,
Mary
