I have had this remote for about a year or perhaps longer. Worked wonderful until 2 days ago. When charging I do see the green light on the back blinking to indicate charging but the remote stays at 2% and never fully charges. I believe that the rechargeable battery is inoperable inside the remote.

When charging the remote, how long are you charging it?

I am having the same issue suddenly.   But I have tried multiple cables and adapters, charging all night.  The green light is flashing to denote its charging 

But my remote won't charge past 12%.   I bought it earlier this year.   Is there a way to reset the battery?

Before this new issue i could charge it in maybe 2 hrs tops

I wanted to give an update. After keeping the remote plugged in for over 2 weeks,  suddenly it responded that its fully charged and is working again.  It is possible one of the gramdkids spilled liquid on it which made the battery act up.  But in any regard it healed itself!
