Good Evening, I recently purchased a Roku Premiere stick on Black Friday from Belk. It came with a remote with a crescent moon on it and not a voice remote. I unplugged the device to move it to a different TV and the remote is no longer synced to the device. I have pushed the reset button on the back of the Roku stick, and I have also searched for info about the reset button and couldn’t find anything on this remote, or the reset button. I have tried going to settings and connecting to the remote but the device is telling me to hold the button on the back of the remote. Thanks for any help you can give !

Roku tv IR remotes are the only ones with crescent moon key for sleep timer, it should never been able to control a stand alone Roku like the premiere. Roku tv's and Roku streamers use two different code sets then one another. This is Roku brand remotes i'm talking about, if you received an aftermarket remote that controlled the roku premiere, try looking for model number of the remote? Look it up on google for instructions. 

I bought two remotes one on amazon and the other on ebay that claimed to be Roku Soundbar remotes. These both had the crescent moon key, but board inside was exchanged with original roku remote circuit board. So the sleep timer button didn't work, it did control the roku soundbar but not very good. These remotes would control a roku premiere too. Perhaps you received similar remote with your purchase?
